Explore Lake Skadar and its unspoiled wilderness by kayak. Start from the shore in Virpazar and paddle through a tiny channel, bordered with rows of willows and overgrown in reeds.
Exit the channel and find yourself at the open lake, marvelling at Vranjina. With its two peaks, the island will be just in front of you. On her left, you will see a bridge – your next stop. Go under it, and proceed right.
Discover the ruins of Lesendro and drift through the Morača River – International Bird and Biodiversity Area. Take your time to observe the birds and enjoy their unique beauty and sound.
After a short moment in the tranquillity, aim for the three islands. Gaze in awe at the thousands of white and yellow water lilies covering the lake as you paddle through tiny, narrow channels. Once again, come close to birds and have the chance to see some baby nests.
Head back and stop at a nearby beach to swim in the fresh waters of Lake Skadar and enjoy the Sun and tranquillity.
